I was at the Speedway covering the Brickyard 400 when who should come bounding out of Doug Boles office but the newly crowned 2 time Indy 500 winner his self. I’d first met Dan in 2003 when he was a rookie. Always enjoyed talking with him. Never dreamed this would be the last time.
